Has it really been since 2005. Wow, time files. Some major changes have happened. I am now incorporated. Offering more services (such as remote support) and have so much more to share.
One of the first things I will do is to let you know what "tech" gear I am currently working with.

I can not believe that Christmas is this weekend. Time flies and the year is almost through. I have decided to clean house and am selling some items on Ebay. I will let you know when I have them posted. The last entry talked about my new toy and I still have it. I really like my HP Ipaq. The bluetooth is acting a little flaky but aside from that I like all the features and it fits in with my business. I am able to print invoices right from the IPaq so it is working out great.

Okay it is only a couple of days into this new toy and I love it. It is the HP Ipaq 6615. It has everything that I need to have on me so I can be productive and the GPS works great. The camera is ok but I don't really use it a whole lot so not a major feature for me. Without my Bluetooth headset, I do not think that I would like using the phone as much. I installed Voice Command on it so now I can voice dial any numbers that I need. I also purchased a new case so it will stay protected. The device comes with a plastic flip screen to add additional protection.
So far, it is a winner.

Okay after my last rant, I thought I would explain about my cell phone history. In the last 3 years I have gone from the T720 to the Motorola V600 to the MPX220 to the Nokia 6230 to the Audiovox SMT5600. (You can see I spend alot of money on cell phones)
The Audiovox SMT came the closest to being able to allow me to carry only one device but I still had to have my Pocket PC. Today(a day earlier than planned) I stopped in at Cingular and they had in stock the HP hw6515 Mobile Messenger. I have spent the last couple of hours setting it up and playing with the features. So far, so good. The only limitation I see at this moment is no Wireless but I could get an SD card to fix that. I just found the GPS and am currently setting that feature up. This looks like it may fit my needs but I am skeptical.

Two posts in a day. This is sort of a rant. I purchased an SMT5600 phone from Cingular and in the course of my day while the phone was in the case(and less than 15 days old), the screen must have been bumped because when I took it out of the case, the screen was broken down the bottom. This is an expensive phone so I was slightly miffed. I brought it to Cingular in Hyannis and Andrew said it was not covered. I called Customer Care and Melanie stated it was absolutely covered and that was Cingular's policy.
Needless to say, 3 weeks and lots of dollars later, Cingular did not live up to their customer representatives word and the most they could do for me was a $50.00 credit. Sometimes it baffles me how these large businesses stay in business with customer service like this but they do.
But there was some good out of this. Andrew in Hyannis was nice all the way through the process and I thank him for that.

On Tuesday May 24, I was at the Staples in Hyannis. I participated in the Small Business event. This event was fun. Thanks to all my clients who stopped by the booth. I met alot of people and had a great day. I may be at the Intuit event scheduled for late June at the Staples in Hyannis. I will post information here if I plan to attend.
